The company was established in 1960 at a town centre location by Mr.Roy Tolley himself.  In 1961 it became a Limited Company and, after briefly holding the Morgan Agency, it became a Triumph, then Rover Truimph dealership. 

The Citroen franchise was secured in 1976 which resulted in steady growth in turnover and sales. 

The company relocated to its current purpose built premises at Gosbecks Road in 1990. 

In December 2001 the company achieved ISO9001 accreditation.  The company has also achieved the Citroen Masters of Quality status every year since 2005 and continiues to strive for continuous improvement in customer care and quality of service.

MTC was lauched in 2008 , a new venture which specialises in the supply and servicing of new shaped Mini.
