Luffield Cars, the official MG franchise holder for the East Midlands, has delivered the first MG TF 85th Anniversary model.

This very special limited edition, one of only 50 to be made, was ordered by MG enthusiasts Mr and Mrs Mellors of Hemington in Derby.

Mr Mellors said “We first saw the vehicle at the Royal Windsor MG Heritage Festival in April. We have had 4 MG’s in the last 30 years and so were immediately taken by the limited edition’s striking looks, so much so that we ordered one without even having driven the car first!”

The MGTF 85th Anniversary, launched to celebrate the 85th Anniversary of the brand, is a great looking car with fantastic handling. Available in three special colours overlaid with striking graphics and a new design of alloy wheel, from the outside the car looks sensational.   The cabin is stunning too as the specialist graphics continue with monogrammed sill finishers and gear knob which complement new stylish Aubergine leather trim plus a very high quality ICE system.

Apart from the stunning look, the new TF 85th Anniversary model also benefits from a ride and handling package that’s tuned to make this car unique to drive. Bilstein suspension, an Eibach anti roll system, lower ride height, an all new anti torsion pack and a modified wheel set up on Rimstock ‘Twisted Pepper’ style wheels, give the 85th Anniversary edition a ‘grown up’ feel and very precise handling at high speeds.
